Mrs. Kovach graduated from the University of Colorado and moved into the business world where she worked in management for over a decade.  Afterward, she began working at the University of Phoenix as an academic counselor and earned her Master of Science in Counseling while there.  Mrs. Kovach was a middle school counselor for several years before moving into the high school level at Castle View.  Mrs. Kovach brings a large amount of post-secondary knowledge and business experience into her conversations with students.  Outside of school, she loves spending quality time with friends and family over good meals and fun activities.

Mrs. Hranchak was born in Stourbridge, England, and completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Leicester. She moved to Colorado in 2015 and completed her Masters in Counseling Psychology at the University of Denver. She enjoys hiking, ice skating, eating out, cross-stitching and visiting her family in England twice a year.

Mrs. Williams began her counseling career in Chicago, IL in 2010 after completing a degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. She moved to Colorado with her husband in 2013 and joined the Castle View High School counseling team in 2016. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.

Ms. MacArthur recently moved to Colorado from Houston, Texas. She began her career in education as a middle school teacher and spent the last three years working in special education as a curriculum coach. Ms. MacArthur attended Texas Tech University where she obtained a bachelor’s in Communication Studies. In 2018, she earned her master’s degree in school counseling from Angelo State University. Ms. MacArthur knew she wanted to be a school counselor from an early age and is thrilled to be joining the Castle View family as a counselor this year! During her free time, Ms. MacArthur enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time with family and her miniature dachshund, Lucy.

Tara Nordstrom

Tara Nordstrom is a school counselor who joined Castle View in 2019. She brings experience in elementary, middle and high school counseling supporting students’ academic, career, and social/emotional well-being. Tara earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins Colorado, and a Master of Science in School Counseling from University of Phoenix. She holds certificates/specialists for anxiety and stress management, bullying prevention, and college admissions. She is a Colorado native, and loves all that Colorado offers while spending time with her husband, and three children.

This is Kambi's 18th year with Douglas County School District. She spent 4 years in Cherry Creek School District teaching English. She has a passion for post-secondary options for students from Career Tech Education to going off to college. Kambi took a non-traditional path starting at Northeastern Junior College, stopping at what is now Metropolitan State University of Denver earning a Bachelor's in English and finishing her Masters in School Counseling with the University of Phoenix. Kambi has two boys: Broden started high school this year at LHS and Callan is a 7th grader at Newton. In her free time, Kambi loves camping, gardening, paddle boarding and hanging out with friends and family.

Mrs. Jaramillo began her counseling career with Denver Public Schools in 2012, after completing an undergraduate degree at Colorado Christian University and a Master's in Counseling at Adams State University. She is originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago but once she moved to Colorado for college she fell in love with Colorado and has lived here since. She joined the Castle View team in 2021. She loves crafting, reading, hiking, and spending time with her beautiful family!

Julie Wright began her counseling career in 2006 in Arizona (Go Wildcats). From there, she had the opportunity to teach at the college level in both Arizona and Massachusetts. In 2017, she moved to Colorado. Mrs. Hoogeboom has been at CV since 2013. She started as the receptionist/health assistant, then became one of the attendance secretaries. She is now the Registrar at CV. She was born and raised in Colorado Springs. She had the pleasure of living in Southern California for many years where she worked as an Attendance/Registrar at an elementary school before moving back home to Colorado with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys family gatherings, walking her fur grand-puppy, cooking, sewing and crocheting.

Mrs. Lansdown is originally from Salt Lake City but has called Colorado home for over twenty years. She loves animals of all kinds, reading–especially about history and social science–jigsaw-puzzling, crocheting, cheering for the Avalanche, and spending time with her family. Her favorite movie is Darby O’Gill and the Little People, her favorite color is purple, and her wish is for everyone to just be nice, for cryin’ out loud.
