Looking for an aesthetically pleasing book club focused on women empowerment? We’ve got you! The Book G.A.L.S (Girls Amplifying Literature) seek to unite the girls of Castle View High School who enjoy reading and encouraging one another. As opposed to a traditional book club, which often mimics a strict classroom environment, we are aiming for a looser approach. Rather than choosing one book the entire group must read, we offer that each member picks their own book to read each month as long as it adheres to the monthly theme (i.e. Banned Books, Japansese Authors, Thrillers, RomComs, etc.). At the end of each month, we meet to discuss our book picks and talk women’s empowerment.
